Having just received a summer order from Amour Vert, I thought it would be a perfect topic for my first blog post for Green Orchyd.
Amour Vert means “Green Love” in French. Based out of San Francisco, California, their beachy French vibe make these pieces perfect for everyday wear, with a sophisticated twist. This collection is made from Peruvian organic cotton, ultra-soft modal (made from wood pulp) and Italian flax linen. While the textiles are not all sourced in the US, the manufacturing of the garments is done right here. The use of non-toxic dyes and a zero-waste philosophy make them a wonderful addition to the Eco-chic movement!
Ariel pocket tank
This navy and striped tank is made from 100% linen. The linen is very light and airy making it perfect for those really hot days. The fit of this tank is loose and airy with stripes that create the French nautical spirit.
Leanna twist tee
Pinks and blues have been a big part of this season’s trends, so this mint top makes a great addition to the color palette. This top is also made from 100% linen, making it airy enough for summer while offering coverage from the sun. The understated boxy silhouette flatters many shapes and sizes. Pair it with jeans or dress it up to go to work.
Neve ponte dress
The classic fit of the Neve Ponte dress is sure to flatter most people. Made from modal and organic cotton, with a touch of spandex for stretch, this piece is truly comfortable.
I hope you enjoyed the sneak peak of the few summer pieces we received. Which is your favorite piece from Amour Vert?
