The list of brands make their products from upcycled/recycled materials and/or deadstock fabric that would otherwise be thrown away. Upcycling is when you reuse a product and make something of better quality with it. Recycled materials is when a material like plastic has been made into a yarn, with which you can then knit/weave into a garment. Synonyms to recycled fibers would be regenerated fibers, reclaimed fibers. These fibers can be taken from pre-consumer sources or post-consumer sources.
